Welcome to Electronic Reserves provided by the Library via Docutek ERes. It provides access to online reserve material 24/7. You can place material on reserve from your campus or home office. You and your students can access the material anytime.
However, you must request an account be established for you. Please fill out the Account Request Form and submit it. You will be issued a username and password. Once you have your username and password, you will be able to login and start utilizing Docutek ERes. Please be aware of copyright restrictions. *
If you already have an account, please log-in. Click on “Admin Login” on the right hand side of the toolbar. Enter your username and password in the spaces provided on the Admin Login page. Click on the Login button.
You will arrive at the “Main Menu” screen where you can select from the following choices:
- Account: You will be able to correct and /or change information about you and reset the password. Before you leave this page, make sure you “Save” the data.
- The Training Videos screen. You can view a short “how-to” video and /or read the “online manual.
- The Course Reserves Pages screen allows you to add, change, and delete courses. This is where you enter the password you will assign students to use for this course reserve page. Passwords are very important for complying with copyright restriction. Courses you have material “on reserve” will be listed.
- The Document screen is where you manage your documents. Here you can add, modify, delete, and upload documents/reserve material to your course reserve page/online reserve.
- Docufax Cover Sheet screen allows you to generate a cover sheet to route faxed materials to your staging area.
- The Statistic Reports screen allows you to access statistical information in a number of different formats.
Remember all fields in red must be filled. The program will not allow you to skip any red fields.
Dates are important. Your documents are “visible” only during the dates you enter.
Don’t forget to use passwords. It will help with copyright compliance.
You will need to clearly label material placed on Docutek ERes electronic online reserve, and material placed on reserve at the Library. We will place all possible items on electronic reserve. However, some items must be used in the original print format, i.e., a scroll, a book, etc.
