Items placed on electronic reserves, either in the Library’s Docutek ERes module or on the professors own Blackboard web page are accessible from any computer with Internet access 24/7. Electronic reserve items are password protected. You must request and receive the password from the professor teaching the class. This password applies only to this class for this semester.
To access the material placed on electronic reserve, do the following:
- Click on Electronic Reserves and Reserve Pages.
- You can search for your material by course reserves pages, department, and/or professor/instructor.
- Click on your choice. Select the correct professor/course and click on the view button.
- Your password request and the copyright notice may be on the same page. After you have read the copyright notice, you will be asked for the password.
- Accept or decline to proceed.
- A list of documents available on reserve for this course will be listed. If there are no documents listed, it means no documents are available for use.
- If the item you need is listed, please look at the length. The item may be divided into more than one file. You may have to download two or more files in order to have the complete document. Material may be divided in order to provide you with easier quicker access.
- If at any time you are lost, help is always available by clicking on the Help button found on the right side of the toolbar on this page.
- To exit, click on E-reserves Home on the toolbar.
