The Department of Systems & Technical Services (LISTS) is comprised of four distinct units
Following and supporting national standards and practice, conserving and accounting for expenditures of library acquisitions budgets, the LISTS provides selecting, ordering, organizing, processing and developing all types of library collections, including electronic resources (databases, e-books, e-journals, digital images, etc.), printed collections (books, periodicals, documents, series, etc.), audio/video and other media materials (audio tapes, VHS, CD, VCD, DVD, film, microform, etc.); LISTS maintains and insures public access and use library information resources and supports students, faculty and staff for teaching and learning with library collections at the Chicago State University. LISTS maintains library integrated management systems (ExLibris Voyager), automatic storage and retrieval system (ASRS) and other library services related applications systems, creates and maintains library web pages and digital projects, supports and develops information technology activities in the Library and Instruction Services (LIS).
