Who we are
Library and Instructional Services (LIS) consists of two divisions and six departments.
Library and Information Services—LIS1
- Administrative Services (LISAS)
- Archives and Special Collections (LISASC)
- Public and Instruction Services (LISPS)
- Technical Services (LISTS)
These work together to provide a collection rich in content, a functional and welcoming facility, and an operating service center in an extended regional, statewide, national, and global internetwork.

The Mission
Chicago State University's academic library serves the community of scholars, teachers, and learners by providing

It seeks to be the Library of Choice for this CSU community and a model teaching library, archives, and media technology provider—a valued contributor to library systems and information services everywhere.
